Line dance to raise funds for Habitat for Humanity

The Pottawatomie Partnership-Habitat for Humanity will host a Valentine’s Line Dance Fundraiser on Saturday, Feb. 11.

It will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. in the fellowship hall at the United Methodist Church of Geneva, 211 Hamilton St. Tickets are $10 or $20 for a family.

It will feature line dance instruction with instructor Nancy Corbige and open dancing throughout the night, as well as a silent auction and refreshments.

They are accepting donations for silent auction items until Jan. 17.

They are welcoming beginning dancers who want to learn, experienced dancers, and those who just love to watch and enjoy the show.

The Pottawatomie Partnership is comprised of churches in the St. Charles/Geneva area. Pottawatomie completed its first home in 1997 and has completed a total of 13 Habitat for Humanity homes.
